How to Clear the Instagram Explore Page
Instagram’s Explore page is a feature that showcases content from accounts you don’t follow, but whose content is similar to what you like. However, over time, this page can become cluttered with posts that may not interest you anymore. If you’re looking to clear the Instagram Explore page and start fresh, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.
1. Open Instagram and go to your Explore page.
2. Once you’re on the Explore page, you’ll see a grid of posts. Scroll through the posts and tap on the three dots located at the bottom right corner of each post.
3. A menu will appear with several options. Select ‘I don’t like this post’ or ‘I don’t like this type of content’ to hide the post from your Explore page.
4. If you want to remove multiple posts at once, you can tap on the ‘X’ button at the top right corner of the screen. This will open a new menu where you can select ‘Hide Posts.’ From there, you can choose to hide posts from a specific account or hide posts from all accounts.
5. If you want to clear your entire Explore page, go to your profile by tapping on the profile icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. From there, tap on the three lines in the top right corner to access the menu. Select ‘Explore’ and then tap on ‘Clear Suggestions.’ This will reset your Explore page and remove all suggestions.
6. Additionally, you can also manage your interests to control the type of content that appears on your Explore page. Go to your profile, tap on the three lines in the top right corner, and select ‘Settings.’ Then, tap on ‘Privacy and Security’ and choose ‘Interests.’ From there, you can edit your interests to better match your preferences.
By following these steps, you can clear the Instagram Explore page and have a more tailored experience. Remember, you can always go back and adjust your interests or hide specific posts if you find something you like.
