The favorites list in Internet Explorer is a convenient way to store and access your favorite websites, but there may come a time when you need to clear out the list for various reasons. Whether you’re dealing with a cluttered list or simply want to start fresh, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to delete your favorites list on Internet Explorer.

Step 1: Open Internet Explorer

First, open Internet Explorer on your computer. You can do this by clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop or by searching for it in the Start menu.

Step 2: Access the Favorites Folder

Once Internet Explorer is open, click on the star icon located at the top-right corner of the window. This will open the Favorites sidebar, which displays your favorite websites.

Step 3: Open the Favorites Folder

In the Favorites sidebar, you should see a folder named “Favorites.” Click on this folder to expand it and view the contents of your favorites list.

Step 7: Close the Organize Favorites Dialog Box

After confirming the deletion, close the “Organize favorites” dialog box by clicking the “X” button in the upper-right corner.

Step 8: Close Internet Explorer

Finally, close Internet Explorer to complete the process. Your favorites list should now be empty, and you can start fresh with your favorite websites.
