How to Remove Recently Visited Pages on Facebook

Facebook is a social media platform that allows users to connect with friends, family, and even brands. However, it can sometimes be embarrassing to see recently visited pages on your profile, especially if you have been browsing sensitive content. If you want to remove recently visited pages on Facebook, follow these simple steps.

Step 1: Access the Activity Log

The first step to remove recently visited pages on Facebook is to access your activity log. To do this, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner of the Facebook homepage. Then, select “Activity Log” from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Navigate to the Visited Pages Section

Once you are in the activity log, scroll down to the “Visited Pages” section. This section will display a list of pages you have recently visited on Facebook.

Step 3: Remove Individual Pages

To remove a specific page from the list, hover over the page’s name and click on the three dots that appear next to it. Then, select “Remove” from the dropdown menu. This will remove the page from your activity log and your profile.

Step 4: Clear All Visited Pages

If you want to remove all visited pages at once, click on the “Clear All” button at the top of the “Visited Pages” section. A confirmation prompt will appear, asking if you are sure you want to clear all visited pages. Click “Clear All” to proceed.

Step 5: Turn Off Activity Status

To prevent Facebook from tracking your visited pages in the future, you can turn off activity status. Go to the activity log and click on the “Options” button in the top right corner. Then, uncheck the “Include me in ‘People You May Know’ based on my activity status” and “Include me in ‘Pages liked by friends’ based on my activity status” options. This will stop Facebook from displaying your visited pages on your profile.

By following these steps, you can easily remove recently visited pages on Facebook and maintain your privacy. Remember that these changes will only affect your Facebook profile, and the pages you have visited will not be deleted from the pages themselves.
