How to Put Photo Behind Post on Instagram Story
In today’s digital age, Instagram has become an essential platform for sharing moments, updates, and creative content with friends and followers. One of the most engaging features of Instagram is the Stories function, which allows users to post photos and videos that disappear after 24 hours. One of the most creative ways to enhance your Instagram Stories is by placing a photo behind your posts. This effect can add a unique touch to your Stories and make them stand out. In this article, we will guide you through the steps on how to put a photo behind a post on Instagram Story.
Step 1: Select the Photo You Want to Use
The first step is to choose the photo that you want to place behind your post. You can use any photo from your camera roll or one that you have already uploaded to Instagram. To select a photo, simply open the Instagram app and tap on the camera icon to access the camera roll.
Step 2: Create a New Story
Next, create a new Instagram Story by tapping on the plus icon at the bottom of the screen. This will open a new camera interface where you can take a photo or select a photo from your camera roll.
Step 3: Add the Photo Behind Your Post
Once you have created a new Story, tap on the sticker icon (represented by a square with a plus sign) at the top right corner of the screen. Scroll through the stickers until you find the “Layout” sticker. Tap on it, and then select the “Behind” option. This will overlay the photo you selected on the camera screen.
Step 4: Position the Photo
With the photo now behind your post, you can position it to your liking. Simply tap and hold the photo, then drag it to the desired location on the screen. You can also resize the photo by pinching it with two fingers.
Step 5: Add Your Post
Now that you have the photo in place, it’s time to add your post. You can type a caption, add text, or even draw on the photo. To add text, tap on the text icon (represented by a T) and type your message. To draw, tap on the drawing icon (represented by a pen) and start drawing on the photo.
Step 6: Add Additional Effects and Filters
To make your Instagram Story even more engaging, you can add effects and filters. Tap on the filter icon (represented by a circle with lines) and scroll through the available options. You can also add additional stickers, such as emojis, location tags, or even mention friends.
Step 7: Share Your Story
Once you are satisfied with your Instagram Story, tap on the “Send to” icon (represented by a right arrow) at the bottom right corner of the screen. You can then choose to share your Story with specific friends, post it to your profile, or send it as a direct message.
By following these simple steps, you can easily put a photo behind your post on Instagram Story. This creative effect can make your Stories more visually appealing and help you stand out from the crowd. Happy posting!
